Heather McClure
Project Manager, L.S. Brinker
Heather is a metro Detroit native who began putting herself through college at the age of 19, where she pursued a business degree in operational management. She further developed her skills after becoming friends with the owners of a local glass company, who gave her opportunities to learn new skills, which she said took her one step closer to commercial construction. She was eventually hired by L.S. Brinker as a Project Engineer where she since contributed to a number of marquis projects including Little Caesars Arena, Michigan Veterans Foundation and Ford Michigan Central Station.
“Every day I’m really thankful I have the chance to do this, because I love my job. I love working with people. I love when problems come up that we can solve. I think when you have a great team with you, you can conquer a lot of things. That’s the mentality of construction in general.”
Heather is currently acting as the Project Manager for the restoration of the historic Detroit Women’s City Club, which was originally opened in 1924 to give women a place to gather and network in the city. She continues today making strides in the field of construction management, about which she is so passionate, and we are proud to spotlight Heather and to celebrate her achievements.
