Controller, Brinker
As our Controller, Will is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all job cost accounting functions, as well as coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements and relevant financial reports. In this pivotal role, Will supports the financial goals and processes of each of our five companies by providing Brinker’s CEO, CFO and executive management team with information vital to decision making and operations management.
Will believes in communication as a critical function of his role, and that strong communication allows his team to better understand expectations, timing of efforts and managing change in order to keep tasks moving in the right direction. Will is highly analytical, using data as a building block to improve processes for the immediate term and on future tasks, and through his experience with construction management has become familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures relevant to the industry.
Prior to joining Brinker, Will worked for several years with Frank Rewold & Sons, Inc., where he provided direction and leadership for the financial operations of the company. Will holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Accounting from Ferris State University and is a registered CPA with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Will is also a member of the Brinker executive team helping drive the future growth of all five companies through strategic planning and day-to-day collaboration.
