Dan Gadbois

Senior Director, Safety, Brinker

Dan has over 26 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has consistently displayed the highest level of standards to ensure a safe jobsite every time. He is responsible for environmental, health and safety awareness and training of all field employees. Dan maintains current knowledge of all federal (OSHA), state (MIOSHA), local and Brinker safety work rules and guidelines effectively develop and update on-site safety plans and procedures for best practices.

As Senior Safety Director, Dan oversees the project to ensure compliance with all onsite safety standards. He develops the site-specific safety plan including orientation of all workers. He conducts communication meetings with the entire project team, makes scheduled and unannounced site safety inspections, and issues non-compliance reports to trade subcontractors as needed in accordance with safety regulations. Over and above his role at Brinker, Dan actively serves on the state-level Board of Health and Safety Compliance and Appeals. In this role appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Dan represents management in the construction industry for a term expiring March 18, 2029.
